We had a lovely holiday thank you, what a great location - June and Richard June 2009 Our kids loved the garden and pool, we loved the character of the villa, thanks again - Simon and family. July 2009 The villa was just perfect for us. It was a very hot week but the temperature at Les Cades was always a few degrees less than down in the valley or at the coast, and the pool was a welcome relief when we got back after a trip. We made good use of the barbeque and we all had a great time. Peter and family. August 2009 We had a really lovely time. The setting is beautiful and the villa was fine. It was a great break for us. Villa Cades is a delightful character property set in a peaceful woodland setting. The surrounding grounds of 10,000m² of grassy gardens, olives and Mediterranean plants give it a high degree of privacy. There are beautiful views to the mountain backdrop from the outside dining terrace. The villa is comfortably furnished in typical provençal French style, with oak beams, an open fireplace and lots of charming features. There are doors to front and back facing dining terraces. The living area is on two levels with a breakfast bar leading to the open plan with a well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms lead off the inner hall, where is is also a utility room with washing machine. The upper bedrooms is on the mezzanine overlooking the living room. From the villa shops and restaurants are about 4 to 5 minutes by car. A comfortable and popular family villa!
Accommodation comprises:
Living room/dining room- Cosy living room with open fireplace, Sat TV, DVD. CD/Radio. Steps leading to dining area. Doors to terrace overlooking the pool.
Open plan Kitchen -Elec oven, gas/elec hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, breakfast table and doors to breakfast terrace. Separate Utility room with washing machine.
Bedrooms - Mezzanine double bedroom leading from living room (caution steep staircase). Single bedroom. Twin/double. Twin/double bedroom with en suite..
Bathrooms. Shower and basin en suite to one bedroom. Separate bathroom with bath, hand held shower, bidet, basin and WC. Separate WC with wash basin.
Pool - Delightful pool 10 x 5m with steps entrance. Pool alarm. Outside terrace with barbecue overlooking pool.
Grounds 10,000m² of grass, flower beds and safe for children. Plenty of shady parking areas.
Distances - Local shopping is Tourrettes, about 5 mins by car or Montauroux, about 10 minutes. Lac de St Cassien is just 15 minutes and the coast around 30 minutes drive away.
